Who are your typical clients?

Year 10 and 11 students.

What do you do all day?

Teach or support.

What's the best bit of your job?

Working with youngsters.

Are there any downsides?

Dealing with behavioural problems.

What are your work history highlights?

Working as a volunteer in the community then going into college as a support worker and doing the certificate at the age of 40.

What is your dream job?

I always see myself being self-employed, but I don’t know what as!

What do you like to do in your leisure time?

I don’t get any! I like going to the pictures.

Which modules have you done so far?

Currently on Day 1 of Legislation, have completed Coaching for Learning and I’ve been to the The Mentoring Process training days, but not done the assessment yet.

What do you hope to get out of the course?

A qualification.

What have you got out of the course so far?

I’m meeting lots of interesting people; the whole course has been really interesting.

How has the course improved your work with young people?

It’s helped me to motivate them.
