Promote, encourage, remind, advocate, innovate - keep an eye on the big picture but give an appropriate priority to thorough implementation.

Making things happen - making a difference.

Any downsides?
Frustrating amount of time spent countering ‘short termism’.

What is your dream job?
Coordinating ‘Kicking Racism out of Football’ for UEFA.

What book are you currently reading?
Ideas: A History from Fire to Freud by Peter Watson

What do you get up to at the weekend?
Cycling to Barry Island via Cosmeston Lakes, going early enough to miss most of the cars; watching rugby and soccer; going to see films. Often Sunday mornings are spent writing a thoughtful paper or article that is impossible to do in the hub of a busy office.
