A statement from the Welsh Assembly Government and a letter from Alyson clarifying some of the points it made about RPL were sent out to learning coaches in the week commencing 27 November.

We are taking up a suggestion made by Julia Hopkins of the Vale of Glamorgan network. From now on the networks will be informed of learning coaches’ attendance at each module for their records.

For anyone who still isn’t quite sure what’s expected of a learning coach, there is a sample job description in Section 4.4 of the WAG publication Learning Pathways 14–19: Guidance II, which you should have received early in the course.
