Recognition of prior learning: statement from the Welsh Assembly Government

News from the 14–19 networks

We are taking up a suggestion made by Julia Hopkins of the Vale of Glamorgan network. From now on the networks will be informed of learning coaches’ attendance at each module for their records.

Learning coach job description

For anyone who still isn’t quite sure what’s expected of a learning coach, there is a sample job description in Section 4.4 of the WAG publication Learning Pathways 14–19: Guidance II, which you should have received early in the course.

Learning Coaches advisory group to be set up

We are looking for learning coaches to form an advisory group that will meet approximately once every two months, starting in January 2007.
